Smell sunscreen on babe,
Reminds me of yesterday,
When teens were wee ones.

Two weeks gone from home,
Feels like a month dragging on,
Two weeks at home flies!

Feeding babe barley,
Notice grain on nose...lick it,
Eeeew, that's not barley!

Eight years worth of sweat,
Eight years of toil and trouble,
Eight years gone, gone, gone.

Finally he quits!
No more morons, no more dorks!
Now, new horizons!

These are for the crazy week we've had:

Things can change so quick,
Up to down to up again,
Never dull with Rich.

Never say "I quit",
Unless to a greedy boss,
Say it loud and clear.

Crary Park gorgeous,
Canada Day beautiful,
Fireworks perfect end.

#7, #8, #9, #10.

Even with ten calls,
Thirteen year olds can't make plans,
Finally goes out.

Faced mashed against mesh,
Trying to escape play pen,
But confined babe good.

Lacrosse helps shed pounds,
Twelve year old son looks gangly,
Giant shoes don't help.

Furtive sex in morn,
Silent humping, don't wake babe,
Still he rises with the sun!

Sleeping now, oh joy!
What to do, what to do? Crap!
He's awake again.

Sky blue, sky grey, clouds.
Laundry flapping, must come in.
Can't do fast enough.

Great dress, shoes, up-do.
Where has the little girl gone?
Grade eight grad comes quick.

How could it be true?
I helped make you, carried you?
Oh, beautiful son.

#2

Shower? Really? Me?
It's been days since I was clean.
Wait! He is awake.
